So I looked up Napoleon's, and it looks like my kind of place! My question, however, is this: nothing I've found in the official information mentions a word about cigars - it's all about champagne. Has this place changed from when you guys were there, or is there something I'm not seeing?
Read the reviews on yelp -- just checked and someone went there on 12/19/2009 and said that people were hesitant to enter due to the cigar smoke - Hopefully they are still allowing it into the new year

I went to a Big Smoke in Vegas in 2008. I think i t was 2008 - that's how good a time it was. Awesome! Worth every penny.

They had five or six raised platforms that had opaque glass surrounding go-go girls dancing inside them. The girls were nude, but all you could see was their silhouette because of the way the lighting was set up. It was actually much sexier than had they just been out there nude. There were several fantastic automobiles set up in the room also. Very cool atmosphere. If I had the bucks, I'd definitely go again.

Oh, and the cigars. I almost forgot. Plus the food. And the premium booze. All you could eat, all you could drink, a bag full of great cigars and lots of information. My buddy from San Diego and I met up there for a few days of R&R.

The Paris has a nice piano/cigar bar. I like where this is going though.....I will be in Vegas in April for a week.
Hey Fire when are you going in April? I have plans (depending on work) to be there the first week I think???
Oh man your kidding.....I will miss you by a week? 11till the 17 for fire training. Think we are staying down on Fremont street.
Ya I think it was the 3rd to the 10th or something like that. Sucks!!!! Maybe next time.
You bet, where are you staying?
I don't know just yet. I'm not the one that's setting up the trip.....just along for the ride. I like to stay somewhere in the middle of the strip that's inexpensive. Not in the room for that long anyway. Where are you staying?
Hey I was wrong we are going April 6th to the 10th.....but I might go a few days before or stay a few after depending on my work schedule......so maybe my last day & your 1st day we could smoke.
Man that would be great! I am driving to Vegas so can meet anywhere if you stay. I think we are staying down on Fremount street at the Nugget. Keep me posted bud.

Returned from my short, 2 night trip to Vegas last Thursday. Sorry for the late report, am having some computer issues at home. Anyway, didn't accomplish as much as I'd hoped to (darn work sure gets in the way), but did manage to experience my first God of Fire by Don Carlos Robusto at Casa de Fuente. What a fine cigar and a fine oasis for sharing a smoke. By the way, after my GOF and a few beers, I had a great lunch at Joe's in the Forum shops. 1 floor down from Casa de Fuente. I would highly recommend. From Joe's I made my way to Napoleons in the Paris. Unfortunatley, it was closed when I arrived about 2:30....doesn't open until 4:00PM and I had to return to my hotel for a meeting. Looked like a great place to relax and enjoy a smoke. I will definately be checking it out on my next visit. Ended my evening with a couple of margarita's and a Dunhill Altamira (what a smooth smoke!) at the Southside bar in the Encore hotel. If you get a chance to stop by, tell Lance Tom from Montana says hello! That's it for this trip. I'm on my way to Phoenix in a couple of weeks-another break from this brutal winter! JZ-hope you have blast in LV!

Sounds like you had a great time! I've been to casa de fuente but only for the mojitos and as I have mentioned before to napoleons which is a lot of fun - too bad they open up so much later in the day - I'll have to check that bar out at the encore next time i go - i'll be out there the weekend after 4th of july weekend.

The Gold Nugget is the best hotel downtown! The pool area is very cigar friendly, you have to checkout the shark tank in the pool while smoking a cigar.

Nothing too special about the bar, other than I enjoyed talking with the bartender. He is a Vegas native and shared some interesting information on how many activities there are in and around the area for fun that most people are not aware of, unless you live there. Good guy.

Do you remember how much the GOF was at Casa Fuent? I'm on the fence whether or not to get 1 this trip.

It was $32....A bit spendy, but I was there, and, well.....I wanted one.

With Vegas, its easy to justify almost anything! Thanks for the info! I'll be hitting the table games so hopefully I'll make plenty to spend on some extra cigars!
