I've not been around here much lately and I want to be, but work has me crazy busy still. I shall one day be back to these forums with a fury not yet witnessed on this earth...

For the rest of this year I am stateside. We have a deployment to Iraq coming up in January some time though I am fairly certain. After that though, I will be done for good - out of the Army and living in Austin, TX. The day I move from Fayetteville, NC to Austin, TX will be the happiest day of my short life thus far.

We'll have to hook up sometime, I'm in Iraq and going back home to San Antonio in 8 days...where in Iraq are you going?

It looks like Ballad. I've never been to Iraq, but I hear lately it's pretty dead. Fine by me, I won't mind not getting shot at this deployment! How long will you be in SA for? That is one of my favorite cities I have ever been to, and it's close to Austin! We certainly must plan for something.
