The comparison between traditional smoking and e-cigs is the biggest thing that pushed me to drop 60 on one. Has anyone heard anything negative about them? I've only heard rave reviews.

Sarah Palin... yes I said it. I dunno, this article is rather interesting.. There are a lot of red flags, and it seems like this sort of "lies and secrets" thing that Palin and now the would-be governor in Arizona thrive on seems to really work. I don't get how people who don't debate or at least come out in an open forum and when do can't form any complete sentences or really use facts can be so popular. Anyway I'm sure you'll flame the hell out of this but in any case try to read the article. I was actually surprised to hear that the author went into this a pro-palin.

So I was sitting at a Chinese Buffet last night eating my crab legs (which I never realized were Chinese) with my son and thinking life is good. Then I realized, life also pisses me off a lot. So , although it may be negative I decided I want to make a post where every member can pick one thing per day that they hate/pisses them off. Doesnt have to be world changing, maybe even its dumb (like mine is today) but I think this little place to rant about one thing per day may in fact slowly change the world.

TODAY, I hate what was playing at the buffet last night on their CD in the restaurant---The XMas song "All I Want for Christmas is my two front teeth". Ive always hated it, I think its ridiculous, I dont find in festive, and dont want to hear some kid lisping about his dental work in my holiday season. You "All I Want" are my enemy of the day.

Hokay since we seem to have a passion for cigars I was curious who also has a passion for Beir! No this is not about Miller, Busch, Budweiser, or other American crap beer. This is dedicated to the "craft" beer market. so let's get the ball rolling... Recently I have purchased these... Franziskaner Dunkle-Weisse (try saying that three sheets to the wind) Tucher Dunkle-Hefe Weizen and a wonderful Brown Ale called Nostrodomus. Myself I prefer German/Belgian brews altho I do occasionally have IPA's (India Pale Ales) like Sierra Nevada Pale Ale I'll post more after I go to the store this weekend.

Unofficially, I had a short-term gig waiting tables at a relative's Chinese restaurant when I was 9 or 10 [insert Chinese child-laborer joke here]. It was for a week during my summer vacation. It was fun for me because of the novelty factor and the customers liked the "cute" factor. Channleing Calvin's father, my parents thought it would "build character."

Officially, I was a "Sandwich Artist" at Subway when I was in high school. Make sure to pronounce "artist" with a French accent.

So I don't know how many of you saw the Expendables, but I did and yes I enjoyed it, very cool movie. But I did notice Sly smoked an opus X several times in the film, but near the start of the film he has one in his mouth but it isn't lit, like through the whole scene. Thought it was rather funny. It's nice to see one's favorite (top 5) in a movie...

Okay so this might sound silly but it's bugging (pun intended)... I have a cfl light outside near my patio door but whenever I sit outside I am bombarded with moths and little bugs. Not so much mosquitoes, but sometimes they are out there too. I'm wondering what you guys do to stop this? I mean Even when I'm not out there they just mob my patio.

Many of you talk about getting a job at a B&M. I almost had a job at a specialty shop that sells nothing but hot sauce, spices and rubs. I learn everything I need to know about cigars from Kuzi. This would have been the job of knowledge for me.

Hey Guys,
I am looking for someone to help out on a project that will last 2-3 weeks. Tasks will mostly include cutting drill core with a tile saw for most days but could also include some helicopter work. The only qualification is that you really need to be a hard worker. Core cutting is physically demanding but also really boring at the same time. Flight, food, and lodging would be paid for. Wage is very good and comes with overtime.

Hey guys I have a few questions for anyone that's taken a cruise. I have a few concerns first of all being saving money. 1. Anyone ever taken Carnival? Any recommendations or bad comments? Any other good lines? 2. How bad would an interior room be for someone who doesn't like close spaces? Anyone consider themselves "claustrophobic" and able to take an interior room? 3. Considering some rooms on the lower levels, is the motion of the boat worse? How bad is the engine noise? 4. Any good tips or things you'd do differently if you went again? TIA.

Jerusalem (CNN) -- Four Israelis -- including a pregnant woman -- were killed Tuesday near Hebron in the West Bank in a shooting for which the militant wing of Hamas claimed responsibility, officials said. The incident occurred near Bani Naim junction, the largely Palestinian territory where Jews have settled in places like Hebron, Israel Defense Forces spokeswoman Lt. Col. Avital Leibowitz said. The victims were in a car on Route 60, the IDF website said. Guy Gonen, a paramedic who was one of the first people on the scene, said the car was sprayed with bullets. More than a dozen bullet holes were found in the left side of the white Subaru station wagon in which they were driving. The attack comes ahead of direct talks scheduled to begin Thursday in Washington between Israeli and Palestinian leaders -- the first such talks since 2008. Izzedin Al-Qassam Brigades -- the military wing of Hamas -- claimed "complete" responsibility for the attack, according to a statement on its website. Abu Obeida, a spokesman for the group, confirmed responsibility for the attack in an interview with the Hamas radio station. Sami Abu Zuhri, a Hamas spokesman in Gaza, congratulated the attackers, saying the attack was a normal reaction to what he called "the crime of occupation." Hamas, which controls Gaza, opposes direct talks and the continued existence of Israel. The four killed -- two men and two women -- were from the settlement of Beit Hagai. IDF forces were searching for the attackers, the IDF website said. "This is a serious incident," Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak said in a written statement. "The IDF and the security forces will do all that is needed to catch these murderers. Israel will not allow any terror element to raise its head and it will collect the price from these murderers and those who sent them. This is an apparent attempt by base terrorists to harm the efforts to move the peace process and to harm the efforts of the talks that are due to begin in Washington." The IDF spokeswoman said in a phone briefing Tuesday that the army sees this attack as "very severe," and noted that the security situation in that area had been better in the past 24 months. "For the last two and a half years there has been a long list of easing of measures. The security situation in the area was very stable in the last two years," Leibowitz said. The incident is a blow to the efforts of Palestinian leaders to prove that they are doing what Israel has most demanded of them -- preventing attacks and providing tough security. In response to the attack, settlers from a number of settlements in the north of the West Bank gathered near main road intersections and attacked passing Palestinian vehicles, according to Ghassan Daghlas, the Palestinian official in charge of monitoring settlements in the area. In addition, some settlers were cutting Palestinian olive trees near Burin village south of Nablus, he said. In Washington, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton condemned the attack after meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. "This kind of savage brutality has no place in any country under any circumstances," she told reporters. "The forces of terror and destruction cannot be allowed to continue. It was one of the reasons why the prime minister is here today, to engage in direct negotiations with those Palestinians who themselves have rejected a path of violence in favor of a path of peace. We have to not only stand against the kind of horrific murders we saw today." Netanyahu called the killings "a savage murder" and vowed to punish the killers. "We will not let terror decide where Israelis live or the configuration of our final borders. These and other issues will be determined in the negotiations for peace we are conducting. Tiger Balm, Icey-Hot - any experiences with them?

Anyone have any experience with this stuff? How well/poorly does it work for you?

I've got a old injury in my neck - a pulled muscle or something that acts up occasionally. If I sleep in a bad position, I wake up and I'm unable to turn my head right or left without searing pain. It usually takes a few days or so to calm down and feel normal again. So I've gotten some Tiger Balm pads/gel, and the Icy-Hot gel in the hopes that it can relax the muscles enough to speed things along; it seems to sooth some of the pain after an hour or so (or at least the tingly sensation distracts me enough), but I'm not sure it's really doing much of anything beyond that.

Still, even as a placebo, these things provide something of a distraction, and they seem to mask the pain thru the tingling sensation they give off and it does seem to help a good bit.
